i started taking ambien 10mg after having surgery cause i couldnt sleep due to the pain. it became rather addicting quite quickly. my first doctor .gave me only a 3 month refill. now my primary care physician has been prescribing ambien cr (12mg) for almost a year and ive become totally dependent on it got sleep, especially if i chase it down with a beer,. ive stopped smoking marijuana now cause its cheaper and easier to get ambien cr. can anyone tell me the real truth about ambien cr and its side affects. im 59, male, 5′10′, good health. any advice would be sincerel. my goal is yo be alive by 59 1/2y so i can take out my 401k without any penalty, claim that i have glaucoma (which I do) and srart to grow my own weed. i would rather smoke maruijuana than dropping pills, even though i work at a pharmaceutical drug company. tell me about the ambien cr, good or bad. thank you suki
His eye pressures are dangerously high - 45 - and the drops don’t seem to be lowering them. He has had laser surgery but this hasn’t worked either - his eyes healed too quickly for it to work. His mum, and grandfather are completely blind due to Glaucoma. Is there a cure? - or are they close to finding a cure. What else can be done? My friend is so worried that her son may go blind like she did.
I’m a white female in my mid thirties. Over the past 2 years my IOP has went up. 2 years ago it was around 23 or so. Took a visual fields test-that came back ok. The doc didn’t give me exact numbers at my most recent appointment, just said the pressure had went up & wants me back in a month for another pressure reading & to take pictures of the inside of my eyes for benchmarking. Asked if there were any vitamins or anything I could do nutrition wise to lower the pressure, he said that there’s nothing-glaucoma is not preventable, but is treatable. Read that vitamin c can help & I had been taking about 2 grams a day for a month before my appointment. Have no family history (adopted), work at a computer full time & wonder if eye strain could contribute. Have no other health issues. Only med I take is birth control. What pressure point will damage to the optic nerve start to occur? Any natural remedies? Anyone know somebody who’s had success with anything other than prescription drops?
I have glaucoma so there isn’t anything over the counter I can take . Anybody got good home rem?
I do not want to take the eye drops the Ophthalmologist prescribed. First of all it’s too expensive. Even the co-pay is $100.00 a month. I can’t afford it. And second of all I want to avoid the dark pigmentation around the eyelids that’s caused due to the drops. This reason by the way is the least of all my concerns. Is there any type of alternative medicine that will do the same as the eye drops so that I can avoid using them? Thanks!
