cause glaucoma/catarcts, etc. Does anyone have any personal experience with iritis and are there any natural solutions to bring down the inflammation of the iris. I don’t want to go blind!

Since iritis, or anterior uveitis, is an autoimmune disorder, there are many natural things one can do. The first of which is to eliminate all processed foods and beverages from one’s diet. Secondly, since it is theorized that much of the ocular damage is due to free radicals, supplements of vitamins A and C are helpful. Garlic supplements are very useful for reducing inflammation, and echinacea, along with a diet rich in raw fruits and vegetables, can boost the immune system.

0.10x + 0.01(15 - x) = 0.02(15)
0.10x + 0.15 - 0.01x = 0.3
0.09x = 0.15
x = 1.67……….10% solution
15 - x = 13.33 ………1 % solution

Proof
0.10(1.67) + 0.01(13.33) = 0.02(15)
0.167 + 0.133 = 0.300
.300 = .300

I read a few years back about an ophthamologist in the State of Washington who was having success treating patients with a natural food. Studies have shown that the eyes are depleat in the natural substance called Glutathione (your body makes this). What he did was have his patients dissolve a pinch of 100% bio-available whey protein isolate in sterile saline solution (like what Bausch and Lomb sell over the counter). You simply put a couple drops in each eye 2-3 times per day. It takes 3-4 months for the body to heal itself, but he found remarkable results. You could Google “glaucome, glutathione” or “glaucoma , whey protein” if you want to find out more.

Briefly why it works. Every cell in your body requires glutathione. When your body, or a part is depleated, the cells will oxidyze more readily. Also, your body will not make a new cell if there is insufficient glutathione available to protect it. Bio-available simply means that it is ready to be used by a cell. Thus, the cells in the eye will absorb the protein and the essential amino acids it provides will directly be used to manufacture glutathione. That’s it in a nutshell.

Basically, a glaucoma cure currently does not exist, but there are many things you can do to help protect your vision. Yes, there is now an emerging research that suggests that a small protein called glutathione plays a significant role in protecting the eyes. Given that Glaucoma patients have been found to generally have very low glutathione levels, increasing glutathione levels with improved ocular nutrition can halt progress and often reverse these conditions. Alpha-Lipoic Acid may also help in the natural treatment of Glaucoma, because of its ability to regenerate several antioxidants back to their active states, but in the case of acute angle-closure glaucoma, treatment must be initiated immediately to prevent permanent vision loss. In this case, the patient must be treated medically and should not attempt to use natural therapies or nutritional supplements.

y = amount of 1% solution in mL

x + y = 15
.1x + .01y = 15(.02)

Solve it yourself.

2)
Introduce a third variable z, the volume to be produced.

x + y = z
.1x + .01y = .02z

Solve once by eliminating x and finding y in terms of z and then solve again by eliminating y and finding x in terms of z.

He has had it in his right eye for about 5 years, the eye is starting to protrude a bit, and he has almost no vision in it. He is an artist and he needs both eyes! Are there any good solutions out there, especially natural remedies?

I’m asking for good medical or alternative health advice from people who are optimistic and know of something that CAN be done. You can not help his physical condition no matter how much you wish to do that. What you can do is be a good listener. As the glaucoma progresses your father will be grieving. He is grieving for the self who he used to be, except part of him is still here. Do not tell him to cheer up or to get hold of himself. Let him mourn. Listen to him. Do not tell him how he SHOULD feel. Just be there for him as he works his own way through this.

i started taking ambien 10mg after having surgery cause i couldnt sleep due to the pain. it became rather addicting quite quickly. my first doctor .gave me only a 3 month refill. now my primary care physician has been prescribing ambien cr (12mg) for almost a year and ive become totally dependent on it got sleep, especially if i chase it down with a beer,. ive stopped smoking marijuana now cause its cheaper and easier to get ambien cr. can anyone tell me the real truth about ambien cr and its side affects. im 59, male, 5′10′, good health. any advice would be sincerel. my goal is yo be alive by 59 1/2y so i can take out my 401k without any penalty, claim that i have glaucoma (which I do) and srart to grow my own weed. i would rather smoke maruijuana than dropping pills, even though i work at a pharmaceutical drug company. tell me about the ambien cr, good or bad. thank you suki

i have kerotoconus in both eyes wore piggy back contacts hard over soft for years had a cornea transplant in left eye 3 yrs ago healed and was fitted wit a contact for the trans eye wit a contact for astigmatism/. had neovascularization of my left cornea bout 5 mo,’s ago so took out every stitch which chanmged my RX for that eye an got a new lense fitted. i started smokin pot bout 3 years ago when an optom. told me that it does decrease corneal sensitivity hence why it was tolerable wearin the rgp over soft lenses when i smoked freq. but every now an then i run out or am broke for few days an durrin them few days it gets unbearable to wear the piggy back lenses in right eye again like before majorly and my left eye wit lense in goes all blurry as hell as if i got wrong RX in it. and when i get more pot an smoke couple times i seem to do better as time goes by say hourly. i aint making this upo either like some would say im a pothead lookin for a justified excuse, well yeah i am a pot head was one in my teens quit for 5 yrs to work railroad const. cuz of drug screens and when my KT got worse i started again and noticed awesome results in little time only they last as long as i smoke on a regular basis at least once a day usually i do my dose at night before bed also helps unwind and sleep too. now can i can an educated persons HONEST opinion on this link wit pot an keratoconus. i honestly am not making this up wat i concluded from usin pot wit KT…. most see that i used prior to bein diagnosed wit KT and they just assume im lookin for a free pass to smoke pot for kix. not true people so only doctors and people who are familiar with keratoconus respond. aint interested in the drugs are bad crap. p[ots not a drug. cocaine heroin and meth and pills are drugs. not pot. and FYI i graduated honor roll in my class so for those who think pot trashes ur life ur wrong i smoked almost daily all thruout high school…also some info i have read says that KT can lead to glaucoma esp in corneal transplant patients later afterward. could i maybe be experiencing symptoms of glaucoma and the pot keeps my pressure low enough in my eye to where it dont bother me til i dont smoke 4 a couple days. i also live in a state that does not have medicinal pot laws so my dr’s will not discuss it wit me due to legalities etc… i aint crazy nor am i high right now while typing this so i am totally aware of wat i am talking about. thank you in advance for who ever responds hopefully an eye dr who’s educated in keratoconus(KT) and is aware of effects of marijuana on the eyes in conjunction with kt possibly
